Recollection is a storyline-driven puzzle app where the user plays through the life of someone with dementia from their point of view.

By creating an informative and meditative experience about the challenges of living with dementia, Recollection aims to increase empathy and understanding of those with dementia. This app provides information about the symptoms of dementia and tips on the best ways to handle or react at the end of each level. Recollection targets caretakers of people with dementia or those who know someone with dementia.  

The app’s design creates a meditative, relaxing environment with its hazy style of illustrations and calming colour palette, as the content may be upsetting for those who have experienced similar scenarios to those depicted in the app.
