The MacMillan Space Centre Rebrand
Rebranding
Branding Guide
Campaign
To celebrate the peak of space-age fascination and reflect on their beginnings in 1968, I re-established the MacMillan Space Centre as a fun and nostalgic return of that same fascination.
After visiting and researching the Space Centre, I decided that the name should be simplified to the ‘The MacMillan Space Centre’, their logo should be one-of-a-kind, and their visual language should reflect the wonders of space as their current tone of language does.
Logo Process
Creating a new logo for the MacMillan Space Centre proved to be one of the key challenges in making this project come to life. I started with many ideas that I simmered down to the strongest one which I refined to create the final identity.

Rebrand Campaign
To launch the new branding of the MacMillan Space Centre, a campaign would be released to remind people about the wonders of space. The target audience of these posters is those who have fond memories of visiting the Space Centre when they were young, especially those in their late 20s or early 30s who might want to bring their kids or spread the word through social media to visit.
By playing on the childhood nostalgia of old space-age posters, these ads are meant to appeal to be peeling away to reveal a new space-age of the Space Centre's new branding.
