El tells you more below
Humble, A4 beginnings
I grew up in Surrey, British Columbia with a love for writing and reading. When I was young, I crafted mini paper booklets from A4 paper where I could best express myself creatively (even if it was in glitter gel pens).
Finding my stride
From there, I practiced my writing and visual arts until Grade 11, when I had to choose what to pursue. As I considered my choices, I received an opportunity to design for the school’s yearbook. In a small, humid office connected to the high school's computer room, I found what would lead to the Wilson School of Design that allowed me to combine my passions; graphic design.

El loves to work locally!
When taking on design projects, I don’t mind taking on big or small when supporting local artists and businesses in the Lower Mainland. Working locally to create a sustainable and cooperative future in the creative field is key.
If any of the above interests you as well, don’t be shy to reach out, I am always on the lookout for local creatives to connect with!
Outside of Work
I collect CDs with unique designs, explore urban areas, and cook dishes that may or may not be safe to consume. I also still practice traditional art and creative writing when inspiration strikes, and deadlines are forgiving.
I am proud to be a member of the LGBTQ2+ community as a non-binary, queer creative and am more than happy to give insight concerning inclusivity with your work.
